Elvin Ondiba '20
Elvin Ondiba '20, a biomedical science major, plans to go to medical school and become an oncologist. She also wants to continue her education by getting her Ph.D.
"I love how McMurry feels like a community. I can go to just about any professor and they won't dismiss me because I am not in their major. Everyone is really friendly and McMurry as a whole really wants its students to succeed."
Elvin is a recipient of the Martin Trust Honors Scholarship. Upon receiving the scholarship, she said "I am honored to be a recipient of the Martin Trust Scholarship. Through this scholarship, you have given me the opportunity to attend a great university and pursue my goal of becoming an oncologist."
