Blaine McRay '19 is majoring in pre-professional exercise science and human performance and psychology. He is grateful for the scholarship support he is receiving. His career goals include being the first member of his family to graduate from a four-year institution, acceptance into a physical therapy program in graduate school, and joining a well-rounded therapy clinic.
Blaine's extracurricular activities include being a member of the McMurry baseball team as well as being a member of the scholar-athlete leadership group. As a part of the baseball program, he has been involved in community service for Love and Care Ministries and is looking forward to working with Boots on the Ground.
When asked what he loves about McMurry, he stated, "What I love about McMurry is the community atmosphere you have with the student body as well as the faculty. There is a form of support you get from every corner of our small campus that you can't find in large school settings. You're not just a number when you become a War Hawk; instead, you are a name and a face that people can associate with and recognize."
